Caesar Salad submitted by August 1997 Mom's List1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar 2 tablespoons lemon juice chopped garlic* 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce 1/2 can anchovies, minced ** 1 egg yolk 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 1 head romaine lettuce -- cut into 1" strips 1/2 cup bacon, cooked -- cut into 1" pieces 1/2 cup homemade croutons from french bread *** 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 
Mix salt, pepper, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, mustard worcestershiresauce, egg yolk, anchovies, olive oil in a large bowl. Add in lettuce,bacon, croutons and cheese on top and then toss. NOTES: - * I use 2 TBS which is VERY garlicy, but I like garlic. Use as much as you like.
- ** If you don't like anchovies, you can leave them out. I do and it doesn't change the taste.
- *** I season with olive oil and garlic before baking.
