Chicken Divan submitted by August 1997 Mom's List2 chicken breasts -- cooked, chopped 2 bunches fresh broccoli -- chopped and boiled -- Sauce -- 3 tablespoons margarine 3 tablespoons flour 1/4 teaspoon peppermill ground pepper dash ground nutmeg -- use a couple 1 cup chicken broth 1 1/2 cups milk 1 cup monterey jack cheese -- shredded 1/2 cup red cooking wine 1/3 cup parmesan cheese -- powdered 
Melt margarine in saucepan, add flour, pepper, nutmeg. Add milk and brothgradually, stirring until thickened. Add shredded cheese, wine, parmesan,stir. Pour sauce over chicken and broccoli and mix. NOTES: Serving ideas -- pour over: baked potatoes, linguini Shopping list- 2 chicken breasts
