Chocolate Walnut Dollars

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 squares chocolate -- I use premelted
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon chopped walnuts

Cream shortening, add sugar, egg, melted chocolate, milk, vanilla. Mix dryingredients together and nuts, add to wet ingredients. Work into one ortwo rolls about 2 inches in diameter. Cover with plastic wrap, chillseveral hours or overnight. Slice about 1/4 inch thick. Bake at 375degrees for about 5 min.
