Dads' Resources on the Web

  • At Home Dad
At-Home Dad is devoted to providing connections and resources for the 2 million fathers who stay home with their children. The journal was created by and is edited by Peter Baylies, who has been home with his son, John (3), since December 1992.

  • Fathers' Forum
Offers new and expectant fathers opportunities to explore the many facets of parenthood. We live in a culture that does not prepare us as men to become fathers and does not value the role of the father in the family. The Fathers' Forum is committed to helping educate fathers about the psychological and emotional changes men experience when they become fathers.

  • FatherNet
Information on the importance of fathers and fathering and how fathers can be good parents and parent educators. It includes research, policy and opinion documents to inform users about the factors that support and hinder men's involvement in the lives of children.

  • National Fathers Network
A non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources for fathers and families of children with chronic illness and developmental disabilities.

  • Fathers' Resource Center
A nonprofit family service agency located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and serving the Twin City metropolitan area. The Center takes a moderate stance which is pro-father but not at the expense of women. Their philosophy is that by helping fathers become more capable and involved parents that fathers, mothers, children and subsequently, all society will benefit. Their mission is to provide men with the inner resources to be the kind of father their children need.
