Laurie Segal, a Columbia University graduate, is a Certified Social Worker with a private practice in Long Island, NY. She is an expert in the field of Early Childhood Development and Family Crisis Intervention and the Execvutive Director of F.A.C.E. I.T. -- Fast And Cost Effective Intervention Techniques.

Laurie writes extensively on issues relating to child and adolescent development and conducts seminars for parents on a variety of child rearing issues. She is currently in the process of publishing a book on "How to Raise Healthy, Fully Empowered Children."

Laurie developed FACE IT to fill a gap in the mental health field. Few things are as disturbing as sensing your child's anxiety and not knowing what to do about it. FACE IT is a psychological wellness program designed especially for you...the normal family with normal problems and questions throughout your child's development ages 0-18. FACE IT is not therapy or treatment. FACE IT promotes psychological wellness for the entire family through short term solutions using education and problem prevention.
